The HomES COOL Expo is dedicated to providing home educating families with all the information they need. Sponsored by the HomES COOL Support group of Maury and Marshall Counties.

Each year, we invite the leading home education publishers to attend our event. This is a wonderful chance to come look at new and different materials, some of which you have probably never seen! Several of our companies are homeschool family-owned.

We understand that most homeschooling families are one income. We invite many representatives of home-based business opportunities for you to check out. Our goal is to help that stay-at-home parent find their perfect home-based opportunity. If you represent one of these companies, please consider reserving table space. We only permit one representative per company, so act soon!

We also make available a number of tables to home educating families to sell their used curriculum. We know that often you cannot purchase your materials for the coming year until you have sold last year's books. Table rental fee is low, and HomES COOL Support Group member families (as of 6/07) will receive a FREE table to sell their materials.

You are invited to attend in our 5th Annual HomES COOL Expo on June 21, 2008, in Columbia, TN. We will be having our Expo at Columbia State Community College in the Gymnasium Building from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. You may begin set-up at 8:00 a.m. and clean up needs to be completed by 4:00 p.m. We encourage you to set up the afternoon before if possible to minimize congestion the morning of the Expo. Payment may be made by check, money order, or through Pay Pal to tjhill1@charter.net You are NOT confirmed until we have received payment. Booth space is on a first-paid basis. Heather Hicks of Columbia looks through the home-schooling material on display at the HomES COOL Expo held at the Columbia State Community College Gym Saturday.

Hicks, who has four children, will be home-schooling her 6- and 5-year-old; the other two are younger. The expo hosted 90 tables of vendors and was attended by about 350 parents and others interested in home-schooling, said Teri Hill who organized the event.
